Lorraine and I were married on May 29th, 1999 in Laguna Beach, California (see wedding pictures here). Lorraine was born in Virginia and grew up in Northern California with two sisters. She graduated from Sacramento State University and had a successful career as a software engineer and project manager. Lorraine was living in Orange County, California when we met and after we got married, we moved to Orange County, Florida and started a laser systems company (Applied Photonics). Lorraine handled the administrative, operations, and HR functions of the company and after selling the company in 2009, she devoted much of her time to a women's ministry called JoyBuilders. Lorraine currently works as a computer consultant specializing in database management working primarily on legacy systems like the AS/400. However, Lorraine's biggest challenge remains putting up with an imperfect husband which she does with the perfect balance of truth and grace.
